ASTC’s interesting fact of the week.

The 18th August 1940 was the Hardest Day. The Hardest Day was the name of a Second World War air battle fought during the Battle of Britain. Over 970 flight missions were sent out on this day.

On the 18th August 1968, Pierre Janssen discovered helium.
